Due to the lockdown restrictions, only two internal club competitions were able to be held this year at Riccall Bowling Club - the usual singles and pairs competitions. In a tightly contested singles draw, Richard Scott claimed the singles title, while Jean Kendall and Keith Rudd were victorious in the doubles format. Alongside the club competitions, this year’s Selby and District Ladies Bowling League President’s Day competition was held at Riccall over the Bank Holiday weekend and was attended by over 30 bowlers from various clubs.
The first bowl of the event (a bowls drive) was sent by the 2021 League President, Brenda Neal, and the competition was won by Gemma from Selby Bowls Club.
