The Selby Times has already received many kind donations of pyjamas for this year’s Jim-Jams for Jamie appeal.
Jamie Inglis tragically passed away from neuroblastoma in January 2013. After his death, Jamie’s mum, Vicky wanted to do something to help children staying in hospital. She said such a simple thing as providing local hospitals with pyjamas to keep children on the ward extra snuggly, helps them so much. The Jim-Jams will head to hospitals in Leeds, York, Hull, Wakefield, Sheffield and a specialist hospital in London. The Selby Times will continue to take your donations until Wednesday, November 15. You can post your pyjamas or drop them off at our offices at 11 The Crescent, Selby on Monday and Tuesdays from 9am till 4pm and Thursdays and Fridays from 9am till 1pm. Jamie’s family kindly ask that you wrap and place an age label on your donations. For more information about the appeal, please search Keep Jamie Smiling on Facebook.
